Judging by the name of my blog (and picture above), I’m sure you can guess my answer 😉 I felt it fitting to dedicate my first post to my adored Louis Vuitton purse, especially since the name of my blog pays homage to the timeless brand.
For a few years I admired the Neverfull MM Damier Ebene bag and pondered over whether I should bite the bullet and spend my hard earned cash on a purse with a very hefty price tag ($1,260 before taxes to be exact…. god I hope my husband doesn’t sees this post). Over those years I had purchased several other purses, all with price tags ranging from $150-$300, in hopes to satisfy my LV crave. Until I finally decided it was time to “treat yo self” right before my wedding and purchase the bag as my “last single girl purchase” (the shit I come up with to justify my purchases are never ending), and boy am I happy I did!
The Neverfull MM is the medium size purse (PM is the smaller and GM is the largest), which I find to be the perfect size. The durability of the purse is great, and don’t be afraid to load it up with all your goodies because this bag can hold a ton (and believe me, I carry around a lot of pointless crap). The purse also comes with a separate wristlet that can hook onto the inside of the bag (another justification I told myself when buying the bag “it’s basically like a two for one!”). The purse also has an inside pocket and clasp at the top to close the bag together.
What I realized after purchasing my dream purse is; if I would have just saved all the money I spent on less expensive purses trying to fill my LV void, I would have had more money saved to put towards the Louis Vuitton, and less random bags taking up space that I never use anymore (some of you reading this are probably like .. well duh). It took me awhile to realize that though! Don’t get me wrong, there are items I believe you should save on vs. splurge, but believe me .. your purse shouldn’t be one of them.
I use my Louis Vuitton Neverfull almost every single day and I truly feel it is a timeless piece that will never go out of style. I may have purchased a few other Louis Vuitton pieces since, but that is a post for another day! If you’ve been considering taking the plunge and buying this amazing purse (and it’s within your means) I promise you will not regret it!
